During the latest Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles NV investor meeting, the company published a picture that shows us the upcoming models from the last quarter of 2014 up to 2016.
Alfa Romeo will present its new sedan of on 24 June. The car will be rear-wheel drive and it will be equipped with various turbo four-cylinder and V6 engines. There is also a “second vehicle” which will be launched in early 2016 and it is probably the upcoming SUV of the Italian brand.
Chrysler will unveil a Minivan at the Detroit auto show, with the PHEV version launched later. At the same time, they are working on a car called Chrysler 100.
Dodge, will launch the revamped Dart in June 2016 and a little later, the Dart SRT will be added to the range and it will be equipped with a turbo four-cylinder engine and a ZF 9 speed automatic transmission. They will also presented and the new “D-CUV” model which will replace the Dodge Journey.
Fiat will launch the new Fiorino and a mid-sized car, the name of which we do not know yet.
Jeep will present a “C-SUV” to be placed between the Renegade and the Cherokee. In addition they will present the new Grand Cherokee.
Ram will renew the 1500 pickup and the heavy-duty pickups. The new generation of 1500 will be presented in 2017, with probable changes on the 2500 and 3500.
Maserati has finally confirmed that its upcoming SUV will be called Levante. From what we know so far, it will have an aluminum body and it will be built at the Mirafiori plant in Italy. It will be available with many engines among of which will be a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 producing more than 560 hp. All engines will be combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
Besides the new SUV, Maserati will present also the Alfieri. The production version of the car will be presented in 2016 at Geneva, while the convertible version will follow shortly after. The car will be based on the platform used by the Ghibli and Quattroporte and it will be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 that will produce more than 500 hp.
