Zenos Cars has announced that they have prepared a power upgrade kit for the E10 S. This upgrade kit, consists of a new air intake, a larger intercooler and a revised ECU for the car’s turbocharged EcoBoost 2-liter engine.
The car with the kit installed, produces 280 hp and 420 Nm of torque and it is able to accelerate from zero to 96 mph in just 4 seconds, having a top speed of 233 km/h.
According to Mark Edwards, CEO of the company, they have demonstrated that the innovative hybrid chassis of the E10 series, is able to cope comfortably with the extra power and torque provided by the new kit, so that the increased yield still matches the already excellent balance of the model.
Always according to the company, the cars that will be equipped with the kit upgrade, should use 97 octane fuel. This kit can be installed in a day in dealers or in the factory of the company and it does not affect the existing warranty.
The cheapest version of the E10 starts at £26.995 in the United Kingdom, while the turbocharged E10 S starts at £32.995 and the most powerful model, the E10 R starts from £39.995. Finally the cost of the kit is £1.995.
