Volkswagen presented the Passat Alltrack, which will debut at the Geneva Motor show. The car is based on the Variant version of the new Passat but it has an increased ground clearance by 27.5 mm and a slightly different appearance.

The Passat Alltrack features plastic protectors at the bottom of the body, while the front and rear bumpers have a different design.
The Passat Alltrack is equipped with the Haldex four wheel drive system of the company, while it features an “Off Road” driving mode, that when activated, modifies the throttle response, braking and Hill Start and Hill Descent systems to maximize traction in off-road adventures.
The Volkswagen Passat Alltrack will be available with the same engines, as the Passat Variant. Including a 2.0 liter TSI producing 220 hp and a 2.0 liter TDI producing 240 hp.
