The former CEO of Caterham, Ansar Ali, presented the Zenos E10 at the 2014 Autosport International.
The first production model of Zenos Cars is a cabrio, two-seater, lightweight car. The E10 weighs 650 kilos, thanks to it’s aluminium chassis. It is equipped with a two-liter , four-cylinder Ford engine producing 200 hp. The power is send to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox while at the extra equipment there is a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited slip differential .
Thanks to its low weight and sufficiently strong engine, the Zenos E10 is able to accelerate up to 100km/h from a standstill in less than 5 seconds with a top speed reaching 217km/h.
The first 75 copies of the E10, will constitute the “launch edition”, will be equipped with the an LSD, alloy wheels of OZ, heating for the passenger’s feet and steering with quick-release and they will cost £ 28,995 ($ 47,770)(each). The extras alone cost £5,755 ($ 9,490) but being part of the launch edition there will be a small discount and the price will start from £ 24,995 ($ 41,180).
