A 1989 racing Porsche 962 IMSA will be auctioned by Mecum Auctions, in mid-January, with its estimated price being $2.5 to $3 million.
The car is one of the most authentic 962 that exist today, it has a chassis number 962-108 and it is the one that won the 24 hours of Daytona race in 1989 with the color of Jim Busby Racing, with its drivers being Derek Bel, Bob Wollek and John Andretti.
