Acura presented the 2016 MDX. The car features an improved wheel drive SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) and in terms of equipment it has the Adaptive Cruise Control Systems with the Low-Speed Follow function, Collision Mitigation Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, Blind Spot Information and Rear Cross Traffic Monitor system.
The car has acquired the Siri system of Apple, reversing camera and a new gear shift. It is equipped with a 3,5 liter V6 engine combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission with Sequential SportShift technology. The gearbox weighs 30 kilos less than the previous six-speed automatic transmission and it is able to make the speed changes 25% faster.
