Mercedes presented at the Paris auto show the Generation EQ Concept. The design of the car has many curves and a dynamic profile, while the absence of handles on the doors, the windscreen and the cameras used instead of conventional mirrors, make the lines of the car more clean.

The exterior of the car is painted in a color that Mercedes calls “alubeam silver”, having several blue accents, while it rests on 21-inch wheels.
Its interior is futuristic yet minimalist, having a digital instrument panel which reaches a size of 24 inches, a secondary display at the bottom of the console and the complete lack of switches.
The car is equipped with two electric motors, one on each axis, which deliver combined 402 hp with 700 Nm of torque. The car can do reach 100 km/h from a standstill, in less than 5 seconds, while its autonomy reaches 500 kilometers. Also it is worth noting that thanks to the ability to quickly charge the batteries, Mercedes estimates that just 5 minutes of charging can give the car an autonomy of around 100 km.
Mercedes announced that all its electric models will be sold under the name EQ, a so named under-brand of the company, with the first models with the EQ logos to be sold by the end of the decade.
