Mazda presented the brand new CX-5. The new crossover of the Japanese company, is placed between the CX-3 and the larger CX-9, with its design having influences from the CX-9. In the front it features thin lights and an imposing grille, while at the back it has double exhaust tailpipes.
It is worth noting that compared with the outgoing model, the new CX-5 stands slightly lower and is 10 mm wider in the front, creating a more sporty feel, while it is also 5 mm smaller in length, with its wheelbase staying unchanged at 2.7 meters.
It will be offered with the known range of SkyActiv sets, which includes two petrol engines, a 2-liter and a 2.5-liter and the diesel D-SkyActiv of 2.2 liters. The engines will be available with either a six-speed, manual, or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The car will also be equipped with the G-Vectoring Control system of the company that controls the torque depending on the steering angle to optimize vertical load for each wheel, increasing comfort in the cabin and reducing the need for corrective action by the driver.
Its interior features a redesigned center console, a 4.6 inch TFT screen at the instrument panel, a three-spoke steering wheel and a 7-inch screen in the center of the dashboard.
