This time is about four seconds faster than the Koenigsegg CCX that has 150 extra hp and several kilos less. It is less than 2 seconds more than the time of the BMW M4 GTS, but faster than the 997 Porsche 911 GT2, Turbo S, and GT3 RS, and the Pagani Zonda F. The important part however is that it is 2.59 seconds faster, by its main competitor, the Shelby Mustang GT350R. Also, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 surpassed the time of many supercars and track focused cars.

The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 produces 650 hp, it weighs 104 kilos less than the previous generation and when it is fitted with a manual transmission it can do the 0-96 km/h (0-60 miles/hour) only with the first speed, in 3.5 seconds. It features an adjustable Launch control system, which is controlled through the Track mode and it has also a rev matching system and the Performance Data Recorder system.

Its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine produces 650 hp with 882 Nm of torque, that enable it to do the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds with an exit speed of 204 km/h. It has a Magnetic Ride suspension and it can be combined with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic.
