Peugeot gave the details for the Exalt Concept, which will be presented on 20 October, in Beijing. The prototype of the French company, pays tribute to the French cars of the 1920s and 1930s, with its body is not being painted, but instead it uses unpainted steel.

The four-door coupe, offers room for 4 people plus luggage, it has a very charming and dynamic design, with Peugeot to characterize it as a mixture of crude steel and an effective texture. The material used for its body is called Shark Skin, inspired by the structure of shark skin, with Peugeot to support that it improves aerodynamics and average consumption.

It has a length of 4.73 meters and height of 1.31 meters. It weighs 1,700 kilos and at the interior features leather upholstery, textile coating, wooden steering wheel, carbon and wood trimmings, digital dashboard and two folding touch screens, which are used for the operation of the infotainment system and the air conditioning.

Under the hood there is a Hybrid4 hybrid set consisting of the 1.6 liter turbo THP engine of the RCZ R producing 270 hp with 330 Nm of torque and an electric motor of 50 kW. The first sends the power to the front axle, and the second to the rear. Combined the two engines produce 340 hp and they are mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission.
