Proton and DRB-HICOM, the two parent companies of Lotus, announced that the new CEO of Lotus will be Jean-Marc Gales. Gales replaces Aslam Farikullah who will remain a member of the Board of Lotus Cars Limited, and will continue to contribute to the development of the company in the future.
Gales has previously served as Chairman of Citroen and Peugeot in which he was credited the regeneration of the DS sub-brand, and passed from senior positions in Daimler, General Motors and Volkswagen.
