Luca di Montezemolo presented the 458 Speciale A (Aperta), the convertible458 Speciale at the Paris motor show.
The roof of Ferrari 458 Speciale A can close in 14 seconds and it is made by aluminum making the 458 Speciale A weigh only 1,340 kg, only 50 kilos more in comparison to the 458 Speciale.
It is equipped with a 4,5 liter V8 atmospheric engine producing 605 hp @ 9,000 rpm with 540 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm, with the 0-100 km/h coming in three seconds (just as the coupe version), the 0-200 km/h in 9.5 seconds (0.4 seconds more, in comparison to the coupe), having a top speed that reaches 325 km/h.
Ferrari describes as the most aerodynamic roadster that they have ever built, the car is painted in a special color yellow color with triple coating with a blue and white strip running through the body. It features Grigio Corsa five spoke wheels, the interior features carbon decorations and the seats are covered with Alcantara.
