EDAG presented in Geneva the Light Cocoon, which is a compact sports car, product of 3D printing with a “bionic optimized structure” and “waterproof outer panels”. Inspiration for the exterior of Light Cocoon, was a sheet and the material used for the car, is called “Texapore Softshell”. The weight of the material weights no more than 19 grams per square meter and it is 4 times lighter than the paper we use every day.
