Jaguar is thinking to produce a smaller model than the XE. Ian Callum, the chief designer of Jaguar in a recent interview said among other things:
I think there is a huge opportunity in the small car market, but it is a very tricky business, with highly competitive environment and an extreme competition on prices.
Callum did not confirmed that Jaguar is preparing a front wheel drive entry-level car, but he said they are thinking and researching it.
