Ford announced the Red and Black version of the Fiesta equipped with a more powerful version of the three-cylinder 1-liter engine of the company.
This new version of the Ecoboost, delivers 140 hp while the company says, that is has a higher specific output (horsepower per liter) than the Bugatti Veyron or the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Thanks to this engine, the Fiesta accelerates to 100 km/h from standstill in nine seconds while the top speed is 201 km/h. In terms of economy and emissions, the Ford Fiesta with this engine consumes on average 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers and emits 104 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Apart from the powerful engine, the Red and Black versions, are fitted with slightly stiffer, sport suspension, new escalation in the manual 5-speed transmission and a slightly different steering.
Depending on the version, the color is either Race Red or the Panther Black with the new bumpers at the front and rear standing out.The cars are also equipped with the 16 inch standard black alloy wheels (17 inch wheels are included on the extra equipment), different sills and spoiler at the end of the roof. Beyond that, the roof, the mirror caps and grille outline are painted in a contrasting red color at the Black edition.
