After a big investment  of Warranty Wise, the George Lister Engineering, The Brian Lister Light Engineering and the Lister Storm, joined a company called Lister Motor Company Limited , which plans to start production at a new , modern facility in Cambridge.

It is too early to have details but the car which Lister will return WITH is virtually identical to the Lister Jaguar OF 1958 under the pseudonym “Knobbly”.  Which will be able to compete in FIA/HTP Appendix K and it will have engines and transmissions with characteristics similar to those of the Jaguar D Type.

The car will be offered with two engine options . The diesel engine of 3.4 liters from Jaguar that produces 330 hp and 399Nm of torque , which allows the vehicle to accelerate to 100km/h from standstill in 4.3 seconds and it has a top speed of 291km/h and a V8  4, 6 liters from GM, which produces 315 hp and 393 Nm of torque with the 0-100 km/h being completed in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h.

According to CEO of Warranty Wise, Lawrence Whittaker:

Anyone who loves the English sports cars and understands the extraordinary legacy of Lister, must be excited by the news. The Lister “Knobbly” was an extremely strong ” giant killer ” in it’s time and by the expertise of those who started the project, I can promise you that the new Lister will be an exciting and attractive car .
