Earlier this month we had read that the Mercedes-Benz practically has confirmed the release of the CLA Shooting Brake, being the last car that will be based on the front wheel drive MFA platform.
Today we learn that according to sources within the company that the CLA Shooting Brake will be released in 2015 and has the characteristics of a smaller CLS Shooting Brake. This means it will have more headroom for the rear passengers, as well as more luggage space .
It will be equipped with the same engines as the four door CLA, but it is not yet clear if there will be an AMG version with the two-liter engine of 360 horsepower . The same sources indicate that there is little hope to see an open adoption or a shorter and lower roadster.
