Continuing a partnership that dates back to 2007, AMG and Cigarette Racing, presented at the international boat exhibition in Miami, the strongest electric cruiser in the world, which derives from the technology of the purely electric, SLS AMG Electric Drive.
As it was expected, since it is a boat and it has racing standards it’s power and the far exceeds the power of the SLS AMG Electric Drive.Thus, the 30 feet boat prototype utilizes twelve Motors with 188 hp (each), which provide a total power of 2,251 hp and 3.000 Nm of torque.
Despite the staggering amount of power, the maximum speed of the high speed boat is
160 km./Hr, however this speedis considered as a very fast speed on the sea and it is enough to crown the “Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept”, as the strongest in electric powered high speed boat.
The power of the engines is drown by a battery which in reality is a cluster of four batteries consisting of 3456 lithium ion batteries which have a capacity of 240 kWh.The speed boat features two direct recharge systems, given the difficulty of finding a socket while on the sea, at land a full battery charge takes about seven hours.
Also influenced by the SLS AMG Electric Drive, is the aesthetic design elements of the Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept.
