Mitsubishi will present at the Geneva Motor Show this March the new edition of the Outlander,the Outlander PHEV which will be avilable in Europe this summer.
Just six months after the launch of the petrol and diesel versions of the new Outlander in most European markets, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation plans to present the Plug-in Hybrid Electric (or “PHEV”) 4WD version in Europe during the Geneva Motor Show.
The Outlander PHEV which is available in Japan since early January it is expected to be avialable in Europe in July this year, production is planned to start at May 2013 in Mitsubishi’s factory in Okazaki, Japan.
While the official performance figures of the Outlander PHEV will be finalized within the next week, the latest data confirms the already excellent environmental credentials and the ability of the innovative platform to cope with the challenges of everyday life, offering generous interior and spacious 463-liter boot it’s CO2 emissions (combined) reach 44 g / km *
the fuel consumption (combined) is at 1.9 l / km* and the maximum electric range is 52 km *

The Outlander PHEV is the first widely available model from a major car manufacturer designed from the begining with provision for use with internal combustion engines.
