At these photos we see the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class design without any kind of camouflage. The design borrows several elements from the S-Class with new LED lights with the C-Class of the photos wearing the bodykit of AMG.
Mercedes-Benz will officially unveil the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class at Detroit autoshow in January 2014 with the design of the interior following the recent design philosophy of the German car company. The airways are cyclic with the air conditioning system to use data from the GPS, so that it can close them automatically when the car enters a tunnel so that the fumes will not come into the cabin . Also the passenger seat has a sensor that turns off the air bag when child car seat clicks on it. It also has a three-spoke steering wheel , analog clock, new instrument panel and wood paneling .
Mercedes-Benz says the new C-Class will weigh less than any other model in its class. It will weigh 100 kilos less than its predecessor and it will use 20 % less fuel , producing the same amount of horsepower. The wheelbase has a length of 2.850 mm, 90 mm more than the current C-Class. The structure is made of 48% aluminum, the front suspension will have 4 links and the rear one 5 links.
Furthermore, depending on the engine, Mercedes-Benz will offer the Airmatic air suspension which besides having 4 settings Comfort, ECO, Sport and Sport Plus, automatically increases or decreases it’s height in order to reduce fuel consumption and improve the car’s aerodynamics.
