Rolls Royce announced its intention to present at the Geneva next March it’s strongest model.

Being essentially a coupe version of Ghost, the new model will use the name Wraith which was first used by the firm in 1938 and returned back as the names Ghost and Phantom, when the British marque was acquired by the group BMW.

“… the Wraith refers to the notion of an unstoppable force and ferocity, while giving a sense of scarcity, dynamism thus is the perfect name for our new model. ”

“… it will be the model with the most daring design, higher performance and more power that has ever been hosted by the famous emblem of the spirit of Ecstasy.” said Torsten Muller Otvos.

This, one «back to the earth» approach means that the Wraith will use the V12 twin-turbo engine of 6.6 liter that is used by the sedan Ghost in a stronger version that is expected to reach 608 horsepower. The monsterous engine is expected to do 0-100 km. / Hour in about 4.5 seconds.

Also, compared to the Ghost with the wheelbase of 3.295 meters, Wraith is expected to adopt a smaller by 18 cm wheelbase resulting to an overall length of 5.2 meters, also the weight is expected to be reduced to 5,070 pounds.
