Maserati presented the Ghibli at the Shanghai Autoshow. The Ghibli is the first model of Maserati equipped with a diesel engine, the 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel producing 275 hp and 600 Nm of torque, with an average consumption of 6 liter/100 km and CO2 emissions of less than 160 g/km.
The Ghibli will also be available with two turbo 3,0 liter V6 engines designed by Ferrari, who will be combined with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddles on the steering wheel, with an option of RWD or AWD. The Ghibli S will b equipped with a V6 engine producing 410 hp and 550 Nm of torque and it will be able to complete the 0-100 km/hour in 5 seconds with a top speed of 285 km/hour. and an acceleration from 0-100 km/h makes 6.3 seconds.
It has a length of 4.97 meters and a wheelbase of 2.99 meters, making it shorter by 29 cm from the Quattroporte. The Ghibli S features brakes with six-piston Brembo calipers at the front and 4-piston at the rear measuring 360 mm and 350 mm respectively, thanks to these brakes the braking from 100km/h to 0 km/h is 36 meters.
