The chief designer of VW said that the production version of the Volkswagen Taigun Concept, will be available very soon. The car will be available worldwide.
The Taigun will be the new entry-level SUV of the German company, being 81 mm taller and 83 mm wider than the VolkswagenUP! The overall dimensions are 3.859 mm long, 1.728 mm wide, 1.570 mm height and 2.470 mm wheelbase.
Under the hood the same engines as the VW UP! will be available and also a new three cylinder 1.0 liter TSI direct injection engine producing 110 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque. The Taigun weighs 985 kg and it can complete the 0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds with a top speed of 186 km/h.
