The U.S. market price of the Alfa Romeo 4C starts from $ 53900 ($ 68.400 for the Launch Edition). The Alfa Romeo will have 86 dealerships in the U.S. and Canada with the 4C for the American market being 155 kilos heavier than the European. The extra weight was added to the car so that it can comply with the American legislation. Thus, the walls of the carbon fiber tub are thicker, the car also features added side airbags and the passenger seat is now adjustable. Finally it has added equipment, such as radio and air-condition. All this means a total weight of approximately 1,130 kg.
The 4C is equipped with a 1.75 liter four-cylinder engine producing 240 hp with 350 Nm of torque, with the American version featuring new light fixtures. The 0-96 km/hour comes in around 4 seconds with a top speed of 258 km/h.
