Alfa Romeo will present at the Paris auto show the Giulia Advanced Efficiency and Giulia Veloce which will be offered with two engines, with a four-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The available engines will be a 2-liter turbo, producing 280 hp with 400 Nm of torque and a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine delivering 210 hp with 470 Nm of torque. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce with the gasoline engine that will be on the Alfa Romeo stand will be painted in a blue “Misano” color and the one with the diesel engine in a silver “Silverstone” color.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Advanced Efficiency will be equipped with a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine producing 180 hp, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, that enables it to do the 0-100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, with its top speed reaching 230 km/h. The car has a fuel consumption of 4.2 liters/100 km and it emits 99 g/km of CO2.
This version features a new air-to-water intercooler, a second engine cooling system, a lower by 5 mm ground clearance, special alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tires sized 205/60 and an aerodynamic drag coefficient of just 0.23 Cd.
