Bultaco their off-road electric bike called Brinco. The motorcycle pays tribute to the synonymous 75cc small motorcycle produced in the 70s. The new Brinco is essentially a bike for off-road driving, with electric assist.
It is built on an aluminum chassis, driven by pedals combined with an electric motor located in the center of the rear wheel. This engine has three operation modes, Sport, Urban and Eco, with rated power of 2 kW (2.7 hp) and a maximum power 3 kW (4 hp). The power of the engine goes to the rear wheel via a bike 9-speed gearbox. The torque stands at 60 Nm!
The bike with a total of 33 kg (including the battery weighing 7 kilos), is capable of a top speed of 60 km/h. As for the autonomy, it depends on the way you use it. If you work only with the electric motor at maximum performance, the autonomy will be about 30 km, with a charge. However in combination with pedal and more economical operation, it can reach the maximum of 100 km. Its main advantage however is that the 1 kWh Li-Ion battery is removed in 15 seconds and it can be fully charged in two hours.
The bike features 200 mm front and 220 rear brake disks. At the same time it has a wireless connection to iOS and Android devices. Production is expected to begin next April and the bike will be manufactured at only 175 pieces at a price estimated close to €5,000.
