Acura presented in Detroit the brand new 2016 NSX. The first thing that stands out on the car is its design and surely many of you thought it was designed by a man, but in fact it was designed by a woman, who did an excellent job.
Th designer is called Michelle Christensen and she is the first woman who worked as a project leader of external design of a super car. The 34 year old graduate of Art Center College of Design in California, led a group of 8 people who undertook the design of the bodywork of the 2016 Honda NSX.
They wanted an emotional, “three-dimensional” feeling.
Said the designer who continued, saying that the mid engine layout, was “one of the most fun proportion she has worked with”.
The hybrid powertrain of the new NSX consists of a twin-turbo V6 and three electric motors that deliver more than 550 hp, combined with a 9-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission and all wheel drive.
