Ford officially presented the all-new 2015 Everest.The Everest, is based on the Ford Ranger and while it has the same design, it features more premium touches both on the exterior and the interior.
The 2015 Everest features LED daytime running lights, aluminum floor protectors for the front and rear and a large hexagonal chrome grille. The ground distance of the new SUV is 225 mm and it can tow loads weighing up to 3,000 kg. Ford also says that the luggage compartment of the 2015 Everest can load up to 750 kilos, while it can, load an additional 100 kg on the roof.
The cabin can accommodate up to 7 people and it has 30 storages for small items which amount to 48 liters of storage. If the second and third row seats is folded, the trunk space reaches 2,010 liters. In terms of equipment, the all-new Ford Everest model has the SYNC2 infotainment system with an 8 inch touch screen, two USB ports, an outlet of 240 Volt for the second row seats and two 12-Volt for the first row, the second row and trunk. The 2015 Everest comes equipped with numerous safety systems such as: Hill Start Assist, Hill Ascent & Descent & Curve Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Aid, Blind Sport Information System with Cross Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Roll Stability Control and ESP.
The new SUV is offered with a four-cylinder, two-liter Ecoboost, with a four-cylinder 2.2-liter Duratorq TDCi and a 3.2-liter Duratorq TDCi. Depending on the engine, the 2015 Ford Everest is available with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
