Porsche officially presented the 911 GT3 RS at the Geneva. The car features an aluminum bodywork, magnesium roof, accessories from CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) and polycarbonate windows, to reduce the weight to 1,420 kilos.
The Porsche GT3 RS has larger air intakes, new vents and a large rear spoiler. It is equipped with a new, 4 liter flat, six-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine that delivers 500 hp and it is combined with a seven-speed automatic double clutch -PDK- gearbox, a variable limited slip differential with torque vectoring to convey power to the wheels of the rear axle. The 100 km/h from a standstill is achieved in just 3.3 seconds while the top speed of the new GT3 RS, reaches 322 km/h.
The interior of the GT3 RS features alcantara upholstery, a new wheel, a whitw tachometer, decorative carbon fiber, while until the handles for the doors have been replaced by straps.
