At the Paris Motor show Honda will present both the MY2015 version of the Civic and its Spot version. The MY2015 Civic and Civic Tourer feature a new front bumper, new lights with integrated daytime running lights, the Civic hatchback also has a new rear bumper, side skirts, black rear spoiler and LED rear lights.
The interior of the Civic MY2015 is fitted with new seat fabrics, stitching on the headrests and new upholstery with chrome door handles. It also features the Honda Connect infotainment system which runs Android OS 4.0.4. via a 7 inch Touch screen, which has Internet Radio, Bluetooth, Internet Browser, satellite navigation and reversing camera.
The Civic Sport is based on the Civic hatchback and it is available with a 1.6 liter i-DTEC diesel engine producing 120 hp or a 1.8 liter I-VTEC petrol engine producing 142 hp. The exterior of the car features a rear spoiler, 17 inch alloy wheels, a sporty front bumper with a small grille, which resembles that of the new Type R while at the interior the roof is lined with black fabric.
The MY2015 Civic is equipped as standard with the CTBA (City- Brake Active) system which uses a radar to scan the road ahead for obstacles, and if it detects one, it alerts the driver to help avoid or mitigate an accident at low speed. The system can automatically brakes the car when it is moving at speeds below 30 km/h.
