Honda unveiled in Japan the Grace Hybrid. The model is a truly innovative compact sedan, and follows the design language “Solid Wing Face”. In the front it features the characteristic mask, with optional LED lights. It also features five-spoke alloy wheels and chrome details on the back.
The surfaces of the interior are covered with a soft plastic called soft-touch. The interior also features a sound system with eight speakers and piano black upholstery in the center console. The cabin is spacious and Honda says that the Grace offers legroom for rear passengers approaching that of the hybrid Accord.
Mechanically it is equipped with the SPORT HYBRID i-DCD system, consisting of a 1.5 liter engine operating in Atkinson cycle, a seven-speed double clutch (with integrated electric motor) and an “intelligent power module” with an ion lithium. The engine produces 110 hp and 134 Nm torque, while the electric motor contributes 29.5 horses and 160 Nm torque. The average gross consumption announced by the Japanese factory reaches 2.9 liters/100 km, while the consumption increases for the four-wheel drive version and reaches 3.4 liters/100 km. The Grace Hybrid is already ready to be delivered, with the price starting from ¥1.950.000
