Honda unveiled the new Pilot, at the Chicago auto show. The third generation of the model will be available in American dealerships from next summer.
Its design borrows elements from the CR-V. It has a chrome grille with three bars framed with angular headlights, chrome decorations, slightly sloping roofline, LED rear lights and a spoiler.
It is equipped with an Earth Dreams 3,5 liter V6 naturally aspirated engine producing 310 hp, with cylinder deactivation system, the total weight of the car is reduced by 136 kilos, compared to the previous generation. It is available with either a 6-speed automatic or a 9-speed automatic transmission, the power is transferred to the front axle, with the four-wheel drive being optional.
