Honda presented at the 17th auto show of China in Chengdu, the XR-V, which is none other than the company’s compact SUV, which is sold in Japan with the name Vezel and in America, and at some time in Europe, with the name HR-V.
This model will be built by Dongfeng Honda, and has some differences compared with its two “brothers”. Thus, the XR-V is quite different at the back with new thinner lights and a new bumper. In front, the changes are identified at the redesigned bumper that incorporates fog lights and turn signals.
Its length is 4,275 mm, width 1.770 mm and height of 1.605mm, while the wheelbase reaches 2,610 mm. It will be equipped with two petrol engines of 1,5 and 1.8 liters, which will be equipped with a start/stop system, but there is no information on the exact horsepower figures, nor for the gearboxes that will be combined with the engines.
