Jaguar officially unveiled the XFR-S Sportbrake which will debut this week at the Geneva Motor Show. The car will be the “rival” of the Audi RS6 Avant and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Estate.
It features an aggressive body kit, carbon decorative, spoiler, 20 inch alloy wheels with Pirelli tires measuring 265/35 front and 295/30 rear.
It is equipped with a supercharged 5,0 liter V8 that produces 550 hp with 680 Nm of torque,combined with an automatic Quickshift 8 speed ZF gearbox. It can do the 0-100 km/h in only 4.6 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 300 km/h. It has an average fuel consumption of 12.7 litres/100 km, emitting 297 g/km of CO2.
Jaguar has improved rear suspension, to be able to handle the extra mass behind, the car is equipped with active electronic differential and brakes with ventilated discs of dimensions of 380 mm front and 275 mm rear. Sales will begin on April 1 at a starting price of £ 82.495.
Alongside the Jaguar announced the MY2014 XF, with the XF R-Sport to become the first car which acquires the R-Sport name. It is available with a new 2.2 liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine producing 163 hp with 400 Nm of torque. Combined with an 8 speed automatic gearbox, having an average fuel consumption of 4.9 litres/100 km and 129 g/km emissions of CO2.
Jaguar equips the new R-Sport with a new body kit, 17 inch wheels with low resistance tires, sport seats, new decorative and R-Sport badges.
