Kia presented the Carens facelift, which will be released at the end of the year across Europe. The car features a new “tiger-nose” grille, a redesigned front bumper, with new fog lamps a new rear bumper and new designs for the wheels, that are offered in 16, 17 and 18 inches.
The Korean company has not released photos of the interior, but they state that the 7-seat model features a new black upholstery, a carbon-look finish on the center console and glossy black details.
It has a renewed 8-inch touch screen, for the infotainment system and a Tom Tom navigation system. It also has a rear view camera, compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an optional JBL audio system.
Mechanically there are no changes and the renewed Kia Carensis will be equipped with a 1.7-liter diesel engine producing 114 hp, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission and it will emit 109 g/km of CO2.
