The Lada Vesta Cross Concept has an increased ground clearance (comapred to the Vesta sedan), large wheels and a black plastic protection around its body, while its interior is the same as that of the Vesta sedan.
It is based on the Lada B platform developed in cooperation with AvtoVaz, a company belonging to Renault-Nissan. The Lada B platform is similar to the Renault-Nissan B platform, which is used by many models, such as the Nissan Micra, the Dacia Duster and the Datsun Go.
The production version will be equipped with a 1.6 liter engine producing 87, 106 and 114 hp in three different versions, with the power to be transferred to the front wheels of the car.
