After the leak of the Land Rover Discovery Sport through two miniatures, official pictures of the new SUV of the company, which will be presented tomorrow, were leaked online.

The production version of the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept is basically the new generation of the Freelander. The design of the car has influences from the Evoque, having a sport front bumper with LED lights at the front. Moving to the back we see a strong third pillar, and a slightly sloping roof finish, resulting in a spoiler.
The car will go on sale in 2015 and it will be based on the long version of the LR-MS platform used on the Evoque, using aluminum and other composite materials to reduce weight.

It will be manufactured at its factory in Halewood, with the production of Land Rover Discovery Sport, to launch in 2015, with the company describing it as “the most versatile and capable vehicle in the class of compact SUVs”.
It will be equipped with a range of four-cylinder AJ-200 atmospheric and supercharged motors, which consume less fuel and emit less CO2, among them there will be a 2.0 liter turbodiesel, with the entry-level versions being forward wheel drive, combined with a mechanical gearbox.
The interior does not resemble that of the concept and it will be available in a 5 seat or a 7 seats arrangement, with the second having a 2 + 3 + 2 seating, large panoramic roof and analog instrument panel with the model being available with a manual gearbox in the entry-level versions.
