The car has a front splitter, front cover, rear spoiler and bonnet made of carbon, while the rest of the body is made of aluminum and can be painted in four colors (blue, yellow , red and white).

Mechanically it is driven by a supercharged, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 246 hp and 250 Nm of torque from 3,500 up to 5,500 rpm, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, which sends the power to the rear axle via an electronic limited slip differential. The car can do the 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, while its top speed reaches 248 km/h.

Otherwise, the Elise Cup 250, is equipped with an adjustable front stabilizer bar, shock absorbers of Bilstein and Eibach  springs, two piston front brake calipers of AP Racing and single piston brake calipers of Brembo at the rear, while its aerodynamic body kit produces 66 kg of downforce at 160 km/h.

This model will be available either as a roadster, or as a hard-top. Lotus will build only 50 units of the car, that will have a starting price of £47,900 in England.
