McLaren Special Operations presents the 650S Project Kilo. The unique 650S features a number of parts made of carbon, such as the roof, the diffuser, the mirrors and the part around the instrument panel.
The aluminum caps from the water tank and the oil filter, are painted in orange as the interior of the two doors. There is a 24 carat gold exhaust heat shield in the engine compartment and orange stitching on the interior. On the engine cover McLaren has painted a small kiwi bird, as a reference to New Zealand, the birthplace of the company’s founder, Bruce McLaren.
