McLaren says that it will remain independent

McLaren announced its intention to remain faithful to its business model and remain independent, without forging partnerships with lager automakers.

McLaren says that it will remain independent

The head of sales and marketing, Jolyon Nash, in a recent interview said:

We are very quick to move. Our product development lifecycle is very efficient. In an industry like that of building cars, the product development life cycle is a huge advantage. This independence allows the company to develop products that keep pace with technology and legislative requirements. Our intention is to remain independent. We define our destiny

Jolyon Nash is sure that the aim of McLaren for 4000 sales by 2017 is achievable, despite the fact that the last year they only sold 1648 cars. Obviously with the new models that will be presented in the coming years, that goal may be easily reached.
