Mercedes presented officially at the Detroit auto show the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe. The features an aggressive grille, LED lights, quad exhaust tailpipes and 22 inch alloy wheels.
The cabin is practically identical to the standard model, but it has a flat-bottom steering wheel, leather sport seats, new instrument panel with fake carbon background and red indicators, floor mats with AMG logos and Harman Kardon audio system.
The Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe, is equipped with a 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 577 hp and 760 Nm of torque, that remains constant from 1,750 rpm up to 5.500. The engine is combined with an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 4Matic all-wheel drive system. The 96 km/h from standstill comes in 4.2 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
It is worth noting that the GLE63 S Coupe has the Ride Control, sport suspension of AMG, the Active Curve System and Sports Direct-Steer steering. Also, its braking system includes 39,11 centimeter diameter discs at the front axle and 34,54 at the rear.
