TopCar has changed the interior of a Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard with a two-tone crocodile leather, Nappa and has placed new floor mats.
The Mercedes S600 Guard is the first fully certified vehicle in the world for the highest ballistic protection in the VR9 resistance class. The armored S-Class has a windshield 10 cm thick, weighing 135 kilos and steel plates 5 cm thick around the passenger cabin. It Offers ballistic protection of levels 9 and 10, with its armor to withstand military missiles and grenades of scale VR6/VR7. For additional protection, the vehicle comes with specific aramide components (synthetic fibers to heat-resistant) and polyethylene, while all the glass surfaces have been coated with polycarbonate and have on their interior a multilayer structure. From a visual standpoint, the S600 Guard hardly differs from the unshielded model and can accommodate four or five occupants, with the boot to have a capacity of 350 liters.
It is equipped with a 6 liter twin-turbo V12 engine with 530 hp and 830 Nm of torque, the same engine as the “simple” S600. The equipment of the S600 Guard includes a panic alarm, opaque shutters, emergency system of fresh air, hydraulic side windows, rear LED reading lamps, specially designed cooling space for the rear seats and heated windscreen and side windows.
