MINI presented the John Cooper Works Challenge 2016, a special edition of the Cooper, that will be exclusively available in the UK, with its production limited to 100 units.
The car is equipped with a 2 liter turbo engine producing 231 hp with 320 Nm of torque, that enables it to do the 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. It features a Quaife-LSD differential lock and new 17 inch black rims with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.
Stylistically, it has a new front bumper with larger air intakes, wide fenders and a rear spoiler. The interior is decorated with carbon, and there is a special tag with its serial number.
It weighs 1,215 kilos (15 kilos more than the simple JCW), costing £32,000, about £9,000 more than the simple JCW and its basic equipment, includes a parking assistant, a rain sensor and active LED lights.
