The Ferrari Dino 206 Competizione Concept was presented in 1967 at the Frankfurt auto show and in essence it was the forerunner of the 206 GT.
The car weighed just 636 kilos, it was equipped with a V6 Tipo 231/B engine of 1.986 liters producing 220 hp at 9,000 rpm. Essentially it was the road version of the racing Dino 206 and it was designed by Pininfarina.
After the presentation of the 206 Competizione, in 1968 Ferrari presented the Dino 206 GT. The Ferrari Dino 206 Competizione Concept until 2008 was in the hands of Pininfarina, but in 2008 the company sold it to the famous collector James Glickenhaus.
