Mitsubishi at the Paris auto show presented the Grand Tourer PHEV Concept, a plug-in hybrid concept which shows us how the fourth generation of the Outlander will look like. It features thin luminaires, a flat roofline, rear doors that open backwards and cameras instead of side mirrors.
The plug-in hybrid set allows the four-wheel drive car to have an electric range of 120 km and a combined range of 1,200 km. Its internal combustion engine of 2.5-liters and an electric motor drives the front axle and the the second electric motor drives the rear axle.
The GT-PHEV will be equipped with the S-AWC four-wheel drive system. The motors are powered by a 25 kWh battery, with the car having also active aerodynamics and an automatic Active Suspension.
