Porsche presented the facelift of the 911 Carrera, with the car to make its official debut at the Frankfurt auto show. The car features new lights, thin LED daytime running lights and a new bumper while at the rear there is a new bumper with additional air intakes, new exhaust tailpipes and slightly larger lights.

The interior features the new Porsche Communication Management System (PCM) infotainment system, along with a 7 inch touch screen, a new wheel, for the models equipped with the Sport Chrono package, while the cars with the automatic PDK gearbox will have the additional “Sport Response Button”, which “prepares” the engine and transmission for better acceleration.
The car is equipped with a 3 liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine producing 370 hp and 450 of Nm torque for the simple Carrera and 420 hp and 500 Nm of torque for the Carrera S.
The Carrera with the PDK and the Sport Chrono Package can make the 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, while the Carrera S in 3.9 seconds. The company said that despite the better horsepower, the car is 12% more economical on fuel than before, as the 911 Carrera S with the PDK consumes only 7.7 liters/100 km.
The renewed Porsche 911 will go on sale in Germany from December with an initial price of € 96.600.
