Porsche presented in Geneva the revamped 911 GT3 that is equipped with a new flat six-cylinder 4.0-liter engine, that produces 500 hp.
The new GT3 weighs 1,430 kg, when combined with the 7-speed PDK transmission and it can complete the 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, having a top speed of 318 km/h. The car will also be available with a 6-speed manual transmission, that weighs 17 kilos less, but it is slower by 0.9 seconds, with the car’s top speed, with this transmission, reaching 320 km/hour.
In appearance, the car differs a little from the current model, with its new front bumper having minor modifications, while its rear part has redesigned lights, a new carbon rear spoiler and a new diffuser, which incorporates the exhaust tailpipes.
Its interior features a new infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen, which supports Apple Car Play and GPS with real-time traffic update. There is also a new steering wheel and the Porsche Sports plus seats with 18 settings. The sales of the car will start by mid-June, with its price being €152,420 in Germany.
