Rumors that Porsche will pull on the market the Coupe version of the Cayenne in 2018 have been circulating for long, but a new report says that ultimately the Cayenne Coupe will be released in the second half of 2015, along with the revamped version of the Cayenne.
In response to the BMW X6 and the Mercedes ML Coupe, the Cayenne coupe will have a roof with a sharper slope, and it will have a lower ground clearance in comparison to the simple Cayenne, with a lower center of gravity and a more sport style. The interior will be the same as the one of the Cayenne, perhaps with some minor changes, in terms of price, it will be 15-20% more expensive than the simple model. Finally, it will be offered in the same versions as the conventional Cayenne, including Turbo and GTS while probably there will also be a Turbo S with a twin-turbo V8 engine producing more than 550 hp..
