Porsche presented the updated Cayenne GTS, two weeks before it makes its debut at the Los Angeles auto show.
Like its predecessor, the Cayenne GTS is the sport edition of the simple Cayenne. The car features the Sport Design package, which includes new bumpers, new exhaust tailpipes, wider fenders, dark lights (front / rear), reduced ground distance by 24 mm with standard suspension and 20 mm with the extra air suspension, new 20 inch RS Spyder alloy wheels, new sports exhaust, bigger brakes (390 mm front and 358 mm back) and the Porsche Active Suspension Management system (PASM) .
The interior features leather and alcantara seats and GTS logos on the headrests. Finally, the car is equipped with a 3.6 liter V6 twin-turbo that delivers 440 hp with 600 Nm of torque, an increase of 20 hp and 85 Nm compared to the outgoing model. The GTS does the 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 sec. (5.1 sec. With the Sport Chrono package), with the top speed reaching 262 km/h, while fuel consumption is reduced by 0.9 liters/100 kilometers (in comparison to its predecessor).
The car will be available in Germany from next February, with an initial cost of €98.152.
