Some days ago rumors were saying that Porsche is considering to launch a racing version of the Cayman GT4, with those rumors to be verified by the President of Porsche Motorsport North America, Jens Walther.
There was no information given on the category in which the car will compete but rumors say that it will be the GT4 class, just below the GT3, like the Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
